Fun With Spinnerbaits

Hi all! This tip may be for the not so seasoned

November 24, 2012

I am originally from and reside in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada. My family and I have lived here in Bridgewater for over 13 years now where we raised our son, Morgan, who is now almost 13 years old. I am also owner/operator of LMB Construction & Design Ltd, a small residential construction company here in Bridgewater.

My family and I are avid campers here where we have a seasonal lot at Ponhook Lodge and Campground located only about 1/2 hour from our home. Ponhook Lodge is host to one of the best Smallmouth Bass Lakes here in Nova Scotia, Ponhook Lake. Our fishing season here on the East Coast is short and Ice fishing here, not so great, so I like to make the best of it when I get the opportunity during the fishing season. I take local kids out fishing whenever I get chance as well as my son, Morgan, during our camping season and continue on until the brutal cold sets in here.

Bill Roy FishingI’ve been an avid angler and hunter as far back as i can remember, and was introduced to tournament fishing about 15 years ago. I narrowed my sport down to bass angling alone due to spending quality

Bill Roy Fishingtime with my family yet still pursuing something I love to do! I’ve taken a short break from fishing for about 10 years and got back in the tournament scene in 2009.

I mainly fish in our local club here, South Shore Bass Masters, but love to travel and fish whenever I get the chance to.  I have fished in the Berkley B1 Canadian Open in Quebec the last three years and have done very well there the last two. My main goal is to do as well as I can in any event and I really enjoy meeting all the great anglers around the country as well. Having fun and enjoying the great outdoors is what it’s all about for me and I’m always learning new things and love to share what I have learned with anyone who is interested!

I purchased a new bass boat in 2009 which has seen a few changes and upgrades since and I’m sure will see a few more!
